Fearless Records has expanded its roster with the signing of Michigan's Every Avenue. Fearless needs to expand since all of its bands get picked off by majors - good for the financial base of the label, but not for a consistent roster.

Who doesn't love free shows in the summer - especially in NYC:

On Sunday, June 24th, JellyNYC is hosting a free concert featuring the bands Superchunk, Oakley Hall and DJ Todd O-Phonic Todd at the McCarren Park Pool in Brooklyn. In conjunction with this event, Schatzi Marketing and Gibson Guitars have secured the New York-based artist Daniel Anthony St. George to paint on a Gibson guitar. Stationed near the venue’s main entrance, St. George will be given three hours, 2:30-5:30 p.m. , to work on the guitar, which will allow the concert’s attendees a chance to observe the creative process in real time.

A different NYC artist will be present at each of JellyNYC’s nine concert events. In October, the one-of-a-kind guitars will be auctioned and one hundred percent of the profits will be donated to Cure Autism Now, a non-profit organization that strives to increase awareness of the growing autism epidemic and raise money to fund scientists searching for a cure.
