The debut full-length from the Mesa, Arizona quartet Awake And Alert entitled 'Devil In A Lambskin Suit' is set to hit stores and digital outlets on September 11, 2007 through Five One, Inc. The record was produced by Bob Hoag (The Format, Dear And The Headlights, The Bled) and contains twelve brand new songs from the band. Two of those songs, "Vows" and the title track, are currently streaming at the band's MySpace. "Vows," the first single from the record, will also be available for download starting July 31, 2007 at iTunes.

Art Against Autism is a project sponsored by Gibson Guitar, Schatzi Marketing and JellyNYC. At each of this summer's Pool Parties in Brooklyn's McCarren Park, the concert-goes are given the opportunity to observe an artist such as Daniel St. George, Zach Johnsen, Maya Hayuk, Motomichi Nakamura and Steph Davidson painting directly on a guitar in real time as they listen to performances by bands such as Blonde Redhead, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, TV on the Radio and many more. Once all nine guitars are completed (one per event), the guitars will be auctioned with 100% of the proceeds going to the charity Cure Autism Now.
