Former Janes Addiction bassist Eric Avery is finally coming out with a debut solo record entitled Help Wanted on Dangerbird Records, with recording help from Flea, Taylor Hawkins, and Shirley Manson.

Some interesting Grammy nods, but also the standard crap that majors have pushed into everyone's brain. Among the piles of crap are Daughtry, Bon Jovi, Evanscence, King Diamond, etc. Obvious question - if you have best pop/rock instrumental songs and albums, why isn't Explosions in the Sky among this set? Better off paying attention to the PLUG Awards.
